Size

I have a big boy :)

He was a tubby puppy.
8lbs at 8 weeks (don't remember his height).
now he is 30lbs and 18 inches tall (at 2.5 years)

Hunter was at that age but, I used this site http://bowlingsite.mcf.com/Size/size.html (I averaged the top 3 charts, never used the weight chart) to track him and guesstimate his adult size. He measured in-size all during his puppyhood, I was guesstimating him at 15-15.25 inches throughout, and today at 15.5 mos old he measures 15.75 inches and weighs 25ish lbs, even though he is lean. He has alot of muscle so he is not overweight. So the charts were fairly accurate, only off by .5-.75 inches.
If I poke him gently in the belly to make him stand on tip-toe, he would be over-sized! :lol:
 
At 10 weeks my guy was 10 inches, can't remember the weight. At 13 weeks he was between 10.5 and 11 inches. At 15 weeks (his current age), he is about 11 inches and 7.5 pounds. I'm not the best at measuring a wiggly puppy, though. :lol: The breeder said she thinks he will be no taller than 14.5 inches when he's full grown and she's been doing this a long time so I think she's fairly accurate. She said he was actually a little larger than his littermates at birth but by the time I picked him up at 9.5 weeks he was one of the shorter ones....not by much, but still shorter.

I use the Nobel Chart myself. They're always accurate with my dogs. If they say that the puppy's going to stay in size, it's always in size. Oversized at any point, and the puppy is always oversized.

That's how I figure my boy is going to be 15 1/2" to 15 3/4". He's also growing in the same pattern as his grandsire, who ended up at 15 1/2".
 
My pup Sadie is 9 months old, she's 16 inches at the shoulders and weighs approximately 22 lbs. I'm hoping she doesn't grow any bigger, in agility that will put her at a taller jump height and make it more difficult for her. I'll be surprised if she gets any taller though, I haven't seen a difference in a couple of months and I've been measuring her
