Before we went to pick up Oreo I was on Amazon and found a sling; like a sling you would carry an infant in but with a hook to attach to a collar. I thought it was a good idea and bought it. Oreo absolutely loves it! I even put him in it around the house as it keeps him calm. It's great for going out -- my hands are free and he's nowhere near the ground as he's not fully vaccinated.

Well, the little guy is growing fast and is heavier then the weight limit. I've ordered another one that's rated for a heavier dog. However, I still have this one -- barely used, only a month or so old.

So if anyone is getting a new puppy and would like it, let me know. Just pay postage and it's yours -- first come, firsy served.
 
I think it’s great that he like being carried in the sling so much! There’s nothing as uncomfortable as having to carry a wriggly puppy for an extended period of time! Never mind the fact that the pup doesn’t like it but it’s hard on our back and such. I can really understand why he likes it as it makes it so much more comfy for him and you and he’s so close to you. It’s a very nice gesture to offer your smaller one to anyone who needs it!

The one I'm getting for him (got it today) shows a full-grown, or close to it, sheltie in the picture. Did I chose this one because of that? I'll never tell!

I’m sure Blueberry would’ve loved something like this and like your visual of Oreo I can picture Blueberry, miss bossy insisting she be carried lol. At 2 1/2 she insists she lay on my left shoulder (NEVER my right) up high (no small feat for this fur ball). Maybe it’s a good thing I didn’t know about this sling…Blueberry gets what she wants:ROFLMAO:
