So many times I have been through that and it one of the saddest days of my life-- so sorry you have to go thru this- it is the fine print in the contract with dogs and one of the unfairness of life that they live such short lives.. I am sure he had a great loving home and for him it was a good life, too short but a good life.. and that is what I focus on...
