Our family has decided to start the process to take in a Sheltie rescue as a companion to our almost 11 but still active male Sheltie. We tried to reach out to SOSR over the last several days and have not yet been responded to. Does anyone know if this organization is still active?
 
They are still active. Are you on Facebook? If you are try posting on there or emailing them again. I know they have just taken in a couple more dogs.

We filled out the application on the website - Southern Ontario Sheltie Rescue. As the organization is run by volunteers, it will likely take a few days for them to get back to you.
 
We have been having some technical difficulties with the site on Petfinders. If you haven't heard from Kathy in the next few days, I will see if I can get her on her personal email.
