Southern Sheltie Gathering Highlights

I loved all the pictures and look forward to more. Looks like you all had great fun.
Suzie I would love to have a sheltie party in the fall, yes it is way to hot right now. We have a big fenced in back yard, would be great fun to meet the southern side of the forum folks.
Looks like Mia and Duncan were a huge hit, they look wonderful.

Great pictures!

I think my favorites are Mia on Katherine's lap, and Callie snoozing in the corner.

But it looked like it was a huge success!

Thank you for taking the time to upload all the pictures! They are awesome. Sca looks so official in the group pictures sitting up front, large and in charge. Everyone obviously had a wonderful time.

Susan, I'm in for the fall!! I will help you plan and prepare!

My sheep chaffeur said we just passed Jasper TN, I told him I need to drive since I didn't see Jasper and his last name isn't TN.

Thre are the rest. After I did some looking I did not post some,as they were blurred, and not worth posting.
Enjoy the rest. I still have not gone thru videos yet...Another day I will do them.

@tentcamp, that is Zoey. She may be little, but has a personality as big as the rest of the shelties in attendance. A real sweetheart for sure.

Sca was showing off his "stay".And I have to say,he did awesome. He is the most easy going sheltie.Has not a care in the world. Which this year,if a sheltie should have done grumbling,it would have been him.As my Trapp & Jasper had some real hormone issues. Poor Sca!

all of the dogs did amazing.A few grumbles here and there. For some reason Earnhardt was the biggest grumbler, and spent a good share of time inside. He did not body check Cranberry,he just decided that a body check was'nt enough. And I could see it that it was going to be an issue.
I just removed him from the equation.

Trapp & Jasper were also removed, and put in x-pen at differant times. But after a couple of sequestering, they both got the hint, and backed off.

They will be neutered within the next 2 weeks. But after really analyizing the dogs,Katherine had a god point.Nearly every dog with the exceptions of the elder dogs, were all puppies last year. Many of them were at the 2 year old mark,or so close that really were were dealing with adolesants.
Cran,Sca,Trapp,Jasper, and probably more were 2 already,or birthdays coming with in this month.

Poor Earnhardt was grumbling since he could not run good with his hurt paw

We are home. I pulled the motorhome in the backyard then closed the gate and let Sca out. Yep first thing he had to do his business, been holding it since we left your house

Great photos and so pleased everyone had a brilliant time, I loved all those sables and a tri or two, plus Mia and Duncan of course but no blue merles?

I must say I think the sable merle (Cranberry?) is rather stunning!

They look like they had so much fun, playing together. That's one of the nicest things about shelties is they really get on so well together with only the occasional grumble, most other breeds wouldn't be as tolerant.

Susan and Suzie - I'm in for a FL gathering in the Fall. I'll bring my gang: hubby, baby, 2 Shelties, and Papillon.

Pictures look great, everyone! Definitely jealous of all the Sheltie love. Duncan is happy that he didn't go because he would have been confused by another Sheltie with his name. He didn't understand when I told him it was a white Sheltie and no one would confuse them for being twins.
