luna went into the vet this morning to get spayed. it was so sad to see her. she was so confused and shaking in her kennel. leaving her was so incredibly hard. i get to call at 2 to see how she did.
i hope everything goes perfect. today is the first day not having her around. and i've only had her three months but she is totally everything and not having her around today will be very difficult.

i do have the kittie to keep me company. and he will be very cuddley knowing Luna isn't here and going to attack him when he gets affection..

I know how you feel, we went through it in July so I hope the time goes quickly for you. Sending hugs and best wishes to Luna for a successful surgery and an uneventful and speedy recovery. Wishing you all the best in keeping her from running and jumping for the next week or so! Keeping our Brie quiet was a challenge and she is 7!

Aww! We were in the same place last April. It's incredible how attached we get in so little time. :o

I'll keep her in my thoughts today for an operation that goes smoothly and for a speedy recovery.

Let us know how it went when you get some news. :smile2:

Oooooh poor little Luna! Just think of it as a good excuse to spoil her a little. Next challenge will be keeping her quiet during recovery.

Prayers going out for Luna's surgery and quick recovery. Please give her a gentle hug from me when you can. Thanks.

Note: Mally sends a big "WOOF-WOOF-WOOF" (that's: get well soon)

thanks for all the awesome well wishes !
I know she will turn out okay its more the fact that when we left she was shaking in her boots being put in the kennel and left alone with all the rowdy dogs !! :( and looking at me like whats going on mummy?? i don't understand...
(there was an adorable boxer puppy there so cute!)

It will be very challenging keeping her away from barking out the window (she uses her whole body to bark) on the back of the couch, or chasing Ashe around the house. We might travel to my parents house for the weekend for some quiet time with less distractions.

On the upside. I can actually get homework done. I was a mess when we left the vet clinic I am really glad the BF came and was a rock.

My little one went through last week. She came back that day and was TOTALLY out of it for the whole day. She also ended up with the Cone of Shame because she was licking. Next day she was doing fine and we just kept her in her crate for a good part of the day. Third day, she was completely back to normal and annoyed that we would not play fetch with her. :biggrin2:

Gave up on the cone of shame after 3 days!

oh it is always so hard to leave them - they just look at you with such
sad eyes, not knowing whats going on - the best is when you do go to pick them up....hoping all has gone well....
