Spelling / Meaning Question

All-rounder is a term used often here, same in Britain - probably because it's used in cricket for someone who can bat and bowl (the greatest cricketers were the all-rounders). Cheryl - maybe that's why you don't use it - no cricket there. It's used for dogs too - esp working breeds who do a bit of everything on the farm or hunting or at sports so I must admit I'm taken with all-rounder.
