Forums Sage
Well it's the end of a crazy year of illnesses for my 2 pups and I consider myself very lucky to have found this forum. Not only did I join a forum with a wonderful group of people but I did want to say how fortunate I feel we all are to have Dr. Shelli as a member. It is so great knowing one of our members is a vet, breeder and Sheltie lover.
Dr. Shelli I just wanted to publicly thank you for always being there so unselfishly with your knowledge and advice about the breed and illnesses for not only myself but for many of us. I don't think there has been a day that I have signed on and have not seen you here at one time or another. Most people go to work, come home and try to escape what they do all day but, it seems you dive right into the forum and help us all here when you get home.
It really does show your love, compassion, and concern for animals,Shelties, and sometimes neurotic owners like me. With much respect, thank you so much for being there for Chandler,Gypsy and Myself through such a tough year.

Thank you Dawn.:o

Dogs and Shelties are my passion and I am glad I get to help others with my knowledge. Plus, one of the reason I became a vet was I am as neurotic an owner as they come. Trust me, no one wants me as a client.

I thought in 2011 you were giving up Shelties and shipping Ember to Alabama :confused2:

Just kidding. I like reading your posts because while they always stress contacting a local vet the remote insight and knowledge is priceless.

I agree!!! The insight & knowledge you so freely share is invaluable and much appreciated. While remote-across-the-internet diagnosis is clearly impossible, your advice and opinions are always welcomed and comforting.

Happy 2011 to you your brood!!!

Very well, said, Dawn...thank you for reminding us. And I second the thanks to Dr. Shelli for your valuable input here, and your friendship and understanding of our wonderful breed, and your willingness to answer any and all questions in an expert and thoughtful manner.

I hope 2011 brings you blue skies, blue ribbons and blue  puppies!!

Oh Dawn! You said everything we are all thinking. Dr. Shelli is a life line after hours, and a calming voice of reason when owners are faced with the unknown illness or injury.
So, to Dr. Shelli, hats off, and big Thank You from Rabbit Run.

I also would like to thank Dr. Shelli for all her caring and knowledgeable input she gives. Having her here on the forum is truly a God send.
