Sprite's tumor is benign! Just heard from my vet. Turns out it's some sort of rare (naturally) blood tumor. I'm SO relieved! Her stitches come out tomorrow. And Misty is doing great this morning too. An upturn in things here, I hope?

How is Misty doing today? Hope she is feeling better.

Misty is doing great, thanks! So far, she's the perfect patient. Sprite, on the other hand, with the tiny little ding on her paw is making life difficult. We went to have her stitches out today and they removed them but the wound hasn't healed. In spite of keeping it covered, she won't stop licking it through the covering. Cones, collars, socks and vet wraps were no deterrent. So I have to keep it treated and wrapped for the next few weeks. It's now wrapped in four layers. No way she'll get at it now.
They do keep us on our toes, don't they?
