The Face behind the Name....!

I am the most computer illiterate person here. I am never sure when I post a picture if it's going to work, so I don't try. But, here goes...

That is a great pic of both of you!

And Smudge, the blue merle in the picture with Bacca is Ginnie (I think that's her name), Barb was going to take her and had her for about a week but it didn't work out. Ginnie ende up back with the breeder and Barb got Indy instead which has worked out much better. Ginnie found another forever home that was much better suited to her.

Ah, that's Ginnie Mae!

When I decided to get pup no. 2, I also wanted an older dog, not another baby. I searched and found a breeder that had a couple of older dogs. Ginnie was a 3 year old female, and I thought she would have a stabilizing effect on Bacca - he was 9-10 months old and putting me through "the terrible two's - Sheltie style!)

I brought Ginnie home. The breeder insisted that it be on a one week trial. Ginnie was a lovely girl, but it was obvious that she and Bacca were not a fit. Given time perhaps....but after discussing with the breeder many times that week, we mutually decided that Ginnie was a one-dog household.

So I brought Ginnie back and returned with Indy who is exactly the same age as Bacca (1 week apart). Life has never been the same since!

Ginnie has since been adopted by an older couple with no children and no other pets. She's doing well, I hear.

I'm blessed that I was working with a responsible breeder who cares deeply for her pups to ensure that not only do they go to a good home, but the right home.

What a great picture of the two of you! I don't have any pictures of my pups and I together, since I'm the photographer in the house! I must rectify that!

Aztec why hide from the camera? You are a beautiful young lady and the camera is kind to you. When you get to be my age and look the way I do then you can avoid the camera! LOL.
