Today I decided to start on the leaves that are now accumulating quite quickly on the lawn in the backyard. I had just gotten started with the rake when Mikos ran over and went crazy barking at it! The rake? Really Mikos!:rolleyes2: To make matters worse, he would bounce back and forth through the pile of raked leaves spreading them around!! What a goober!!!

Boy does that sound familiar! Mine do the same thing and they you should see/hear them when I use snow shovel. :confused2:

Tha vacuum, the broom, the rake, the shovel, the hose....Big fun for shelties!! If you want to rake he'll have to stay inside. If you want to have fun...let him "help"... HAPPY RAKING!!!

I have to put Maggie in the house if I use the shop vac outside, she does exactly the same thing...then back outside she goes when I vacuum inside, she tries to climb on top of the vacuum. It's as if she is saying 'leave all that fur alone, it is mine and I like it all over the place!'

LOL, sounds like my house is the same as everyone elses!! I did much better today because Brie decided that she really is a sheltie and started the play with Mikos!! They raced around the yard chasing each other around the trees, through the tunnel, dodging, weaving and ploughing through my piles of leaves!! I didn't care because I was just so excited to see Brie being crazy and wild like a sheltie should!!! Needless to say, the video camera was in the house!!

The rake and the broom are both Miko's arch-enemies!
He doesn't mind the vacuum cleaner.. but the broom... now that's something to be barked at!!

Glad to hear that the 2 of them had fun out there today!! :biggrin2:

Mine decided that the vacuum would be her arch-enemy. The last four years she ran from that thing....now it's time deal with it and send it back into the closet. What a dog!!
Mya...hasn't done anything about raking...betcha there will be day coming where she sees that as a threat as well.

been there done that!!!!! In fact, today DH got the lawmover out (to suck up leaves) while I was out with Cody on the leash, and of course, I had to take him in immediately!!!! IT WAS SUCH A FERCIOUS THING THAT NEEDED TO BE ATTACKED!!:lol:
