I tried one of those 3 way leash couplers. It probably works well if all three dogs walk nicely on a leash and can agree on the direction and speed they are going. With one being a puppy though and one being elderly, it resulted in the puppy pulling on the elderly dog. The big advantage is you have only one handle to hold onto, but I think all three need to be well trained on loose leash walking.

True - mine are all the same speed, fast.
It is difficult to walk when you have a little one and an old one. Makes for a challenging walk.

I know as of things now with a 1year old an a older dog the younger one wants to play I try to play with him every chance I have he loves to chase soccer balls and return balls as I type this one is playing with a rope bone and one is sleeping I will let you guess whos doing what LOL.
I am not sure if its the right time or not but the only reason I am thinking about it is I was looking at my breeders website an she has a 4 yr old female that she is wanting to rehome and out of interest I e-mailed her about the female. I was asking how she would do with my bentley and she said the female is laze and overweight and the energy levels may not match but that she had Elvis that she was thinking about rehomeing because she has to many Boys It just so happens that I had fell in love with him when we got Bentley but elvis was not for sale she was going to keep him an show him witch she has some.
One just never knows how long one has on this earth an I dread the day we lose are little girl she is our first Sheltie and we have been hooked forever.
Sorry I can't talk about her leaving us anymore .....................

also the breeder said we could have 30 days to see if he fits in with the family so no loss if he does not work out
he is about 2 years old and bi-black I just love this color
