What a great day we had today! We went to Pasadena to an obedience trial. Pyper was in Rally Novice B and Beginning Novice B. We did our rally run...91 third leg and an AKC RN title!!! at 10 1/2 months!
Then we waited, and waited, and waited...thru lunch, thru all of Beginning Novice A, 13 dogs. At about 3:30 16th in of 18 dogs, it was finally our turn. Nice run...qualified yay!!! We were packing up and waiting for awards to get our green ribbon and the steward came running over...."your sheltie is in a run off...you can't leave". OK. Turns out we were in a three dog run off for 3rd place!!! We came in 2nd in the run off so we got 4th place.
4th PLACE IN A CLASS OF 18 DOGS!!! My 10 1/2 month old Pyper!
How proud am I...about to bust, that's how proud.
This is the kind of day that makes it all worth it!!!
