Tipping ears...ugh nightmare

I glued Holly's ears and did it wrong! Her ears were crooked , higher. I used the glue remover...It didn't work too well and left her fur oily. Can I start over? How do I know if she needs a brace ? I'm so upset at what I have done. It's definitely not as easy as it looks to do.
She has lots of fur....so glad I came to read threads here to avoid scissors! I snipped a bit. She is steering clear of me now....I has to give Her bath.


Her fur is still greasy and full of glue clumps.....I'm at a loss.

Which products do you use and swear by? Is this a hopeless case?:(

not sure how old she is...but I only use Japanese tape and for the remover I use zo-eze. It does not leave a residue and the tape allows for easy adjusting unlike gluing. If you search the forums for Japanese tape there are plenty of threads on it, and even my diagram I uploaded from missjenneygirl.. I re-do the ears usually every two weeks or if they look not right i'll take them out and re-do them. I keep their ears in for a atleast a year.

She is 14 weeks old. The tape sound much more forgiving. Where can I find your information. There are still clumps of glue and her hair is very oily now.
 
If you use detachol to remove the glue, then you have to use zoeze to clean off the oily. You are sooooo right....ear tipping is a nightmare!!! I did Pyper's for a year and they never tipped. I'm getting used to her look!
 
Ugh....should have left them alone...where is the best place to order these items...USA or CAN, accepts PayPal preferably same place....poor Holly hope she forgives me:(

That's a breeder question. They brace the ears to get them to sit up high on the head. I didn't worry about that for Pyper. She's not a show dog.

Ok not necessary for holly either....after tonight I may just try to clean her up a bit and leave her alone. It was stressful for the both of us!
