My "local" trials are held under one of two nearby covered horse arenas and it's STILL hot and miserable. Actually, it's not the heat that it so bad, it's the humidity. You can't escape that. It is nice that the sun won't be beating down on you but I know at our trials we still bake. We keep fans on the dogs and I'm a fan of those cool gel-mats to stick in their crates. As for my own comfort, it's stealing a few minutes near a fan or one of those cool misters built into a personal fan. Living on the Florida coast, I've not let weather keep me from showing. The only time I found it totally unbearable was when I was six months pregnant and it was hot and humid as all get out!
