Tully's hip replacement

Sending best wishes to you and Tully for her successful surgery and recovery. It will be a grind keeping her "down" for a while but just remember the end goal will be so worth it. I know how hard it is to have your baby go thru surgery, believe me!:hugs

Will be thinking about you Tully and Deska. Remember to take care of yourself and let the vets take care of Tully. I hope for the best of all the best outcomes' so that your little one will be out of pain and running her puppy *** off in the very near future.

Love and support,

Kate

We'll be sending lots of prayers your way for Tully next week, Caro. I know this is a big step and good for you for doing it. It sounds like the surgery will give Tully her mobility back and reduce her pain. Be sure to have some crate toys and games you can keep her occupied with during recuperation too for your sanity and hers. Can you put her in a x-pen at some point, or does she have to be crated all the time?

I'll check when she can go into an x-pen, I don't want to risk her being knocked by the cats getting in or Deska's spinning. I have a giant crate we used for travelling and comps so I'll set that up in the lounge in the meantime.

It's a big step, Caro, but I know you will do everything you can to make sure Tully has a successful surgery and a good recuperation... she's lucky to have you. :hugs

I know a number of dogs that have had hip or leg surgery, and they have all bounced back remarkably well. My friend's little dog had to have metal pins in her leg, it seemed a huge op at the time, yet within days she was back to being a noisy, naughty terrier.

Hopefully this will solve Tully's hip problems and you can move on without the worry of her being in pain.

Will keep you all in my thoughts:hugs
