Any suggestions on whether or not I should give her vitamins or supplements to help with her skin/loss of fur and help with her general overall health?

Is you dog shedding? Or is it just random coat loss due to other factors? ie allergies?

Ive used with good results for shedding coat loss and just dryness of the coat linatone, readily available at either petsmart,petco,walmart...etc. I have tried many other supplements for shedding, coat sheen etc and I have to say this is the first one where ive seen a visable difference.

Lightplum...are you referring to Vibrant Pets here or another supplement?

Absolutely I would add Vibrant Pets to your dog's diet. Many people here have had great success with it, and a remarkable improvement in coat and overall health. It improves shedding and coat quality unlike anything I've ever used. There are several kinds...if your dog doesn't have any specific needs I'd go with the Show Formula which is their basic one, but you can call and talk to anyone there about what would best fit your needs. They are very helpful!

The website to order or for information is www.vibrantpets.com

Ok, I'm blind. What did you say the name of it was? :uhoh: I read the thing like three times, and I'm still not seeing it.

Linatone.

That is a blast from the past. When I first started working in a vet clinic, that was THE coat supplement. Many old time dog people swear by it.

The brand name.

It contains linoleic acid also known as Omega 6,vit A, D and E from a soybean oil based product.

It has kinda of fallen out of favor with the use of fish oils and Omega 3.
