We Got the Guineas!

Six guinea fowl about the size of ping pong balls are huddled in a box in the laundry room. In a few weeks, they'll be out in the yard, eating up ticks. We've gone for natural Lyme disease prevention!!!

Guniea Hens

My girlfriend has Guniea hens and she lives in the woods with 6 goldens and her dogs are tick free.I wish i could have them but I think the coyotes would get them.

We had Guinea hens growing up but I didn't know they were natural tick control, how cool is that! If I recall correctly they make a really unusual sound. I agree with the 'lets see pics'!

Not if they are like the ones a friend of ours had. OMG if you got them going they made a sheltie sound like a church mouse....
