What breeds do Shelties get along with?

you see way more Malinois in Schutzhund and police work than Tervurens... one of the best agility dogs around here is a Tervuren what a GREAT dog...

As for breeds... I honestly would not recommend a Lab or a Golden, I agree they don't get 'brains' witht heir 'brawn' til they are at least two, LOL, sorry Cadbury.. but they are gentle and wonderful later... lol so unless you have the big dog first and he is filly grown I would completely agree with Caro

Yep! David's son and girlfriend brought their 6 month old lab up to the cottage two weeks ago. Neither Indy or Bacca are shrinking violets, particularly on their home turf, and they know how to play rough, but I thought the two of them would totally lose it! Indy was actually snarling at this pup - who couldn't figure out that the black and tan whirling dervish that was trying to herd him into the river was NOT his friend! He kept coming back for more!
