What do you feed

Pixie eats the NB Sweet Potatoes and Duck because it's the most recommended food for dogs who have canine epliepsy. Something about duck being better for them than chicken or turkey. I have to say she's doing wonderfully well on it and hasn't had a seizure since I started feeding it!

Other than that, I do feed my others Eagle Holistic and a fairly new food to the states called NOW that is grain free but not super high protein. I've had great results with both as well as Innova.
 
I'm feeding Innova now. Darcy did great on Wellness puppy food and then we tried grain free and I wasn't able to get consistent poop so I went back to a food with grains.

I cook regularly for mine (similar diet to what you listed) but I am concerned they are not getting all the nutrients they need so started feeding Eagle Pack cans for dinner regularly as well (tho add extra meat on training/heavy exercise days). In winter it prob doesnt matter because they get kibble for breakfast but in summer they only get a bone and the cooked meal.

Cooked is defininately cheaper than Eagle Pack - $5.50 a tin here - more than I spend on my own meals!

Sorry I just saw this post..

I usually use Missing Link or Nupro. It is incorporated into their food as I process it and not sprinkled on the food. That way I get a more consistent blend. I do have recipes available if you are interested in them....

Eagle pack

HI,I feed my bi/black "Cole" Eagle pack holistic select kibble & canned chicken formula.I've noticed an improvement on the shine & texture of his coat.He used to be a fussy eater now he licks his bowl clean:smile2:Cody,Wendy,Cole & Jones(aka the cat)

We are transitioning to Chicken Soup for the Dog Lover's Soul. We were feeding Purina, then I found this forum & the dog food analysis website. So, we started switching them to the By Nature, which is rated 4 star, but then saw a post about how the By Nature was bad for dogs. So, we started the switch to Chicken Soup. It's not the best of the best out there, but both dogs seem to be doing well on it. There is only one place in town where I can get the Innova or Wellness & I'm not positive what their prices are.

No veggies. And it's balanced out over time.

Been working really well for me. Eve Treader's vet wanted me to keep feeding "whatever you're feeding" when she saw how much Treader's health improved and I told her the only change was our switch to raw.
 
The day I got Daphne, my sister sent me the link to the dog food analysis webpage, and Matty and I decided we were switching her to a higher rated food. She's still getting her old food mixed in on a daily basis until she runs out, but she's mostly getting Merrick's puppy formula now.
