What's your sheltie up to tonight?

I've got 2 dogs and 2 cats. In the bathroom, my little dumpster rescue kitty, "Tut", always comes in and tries to lick my knees. My other kitty Dante comes in whining up a storm, puts his paws on my lap then proceeds to try to jump on my lap and try kneeding me. Cat nails + bare legs= ouch!!! My dogs come in and circle me like buzzards just like when I'm in the kitchen. Then they look in the toilet with a forlorn expression like I'm flushing their dinner away. Silly dogs.

Sadly, tonight is my first night of 11pm-7am so I'd imagine they are in their crates sleeping, waiting for me to come home.

DH is still getting used to Sheltie traits. He was appalled that Olive would "sneak" (when she wants, she can be a ninja) down the hallway to the bathroom to see where I went. We have an L shaped bathroom so she of course has to come and lay down on one of the bathmats to make sure I don't disappear - further astounding DH. His parents' Golden really couldn't care less what the humans are doing as long as they let her out when she barks and feed her regularly, so an interactive velcro dog is a new experience.

Yep, got to keep an eye on the herd. Sca is the most laid back Sheltie (most of the time) and at first you would think he doesn't watch me since he is not a lay on the foot type. But he is usually positioned where I cannot go anywhere without him noticing

My Mom used to say she couldn't do anything when Noah was alive. He used to circle the table and Mom and I would get poked all the time.
