Here is my nurse, hovering over her injured patient.

She stays close and seems to understand that I'm not quite as I was a couple of days ago. She's as sweet as a dog can be. We had friends drop in yesterday afternoon and Willow was really good with them and they just loved her. She got up into laps. She rolled over to get her tummy done and then left us alone during dinner to eat in peace.

Yep, you have an absolute gem there!

Nice to see you with your baby there even if the circumstances are bad. Hope you are feeling okay while you wait and enjoying your special time with Willow.

No question, Shelties make the BEST nurses!!! Whenever I've been ill or had surgery (three times since we got Oberon) he brings me his blankie and one (or more) of his favorite toys, then climbs on the bed and goes on "alert" so I can sleep, knowing he's on duty.

That's so sweet! A few moths ago I had a GI bug and was sick as a dog...Piper and Finnie were good boys and stayed with me on the bed with me while I slept. They do seem to know when we're not feeling well.
Get better fast!
