L'Oreal is hosting a fun filled day dedicated to dogs to help promote breast cancer research.

"L’Oréal® is proud to present the 7th Annual “Because Your Dog Is Worth It Too” Day, located on the grounds of our facility in Cranbury, NJ. With over 5,000 dogs and their human companions, there are many activities to enjoy while supporting Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure of Central and South Jersey. To date, we have raised hundreds of thousands of dollars to help fight breast cancer. For 2010, we are more excited than ever as we organize new events, refine well-loved features."

It's pretty close to NY and PA. I'm most likely going to attend with some friends. It looks like a ton of fun and is for a good cause.
 
I'd LOVE to but these things are always a little too far away from us. :(

Travelling for 7-8 hours just isn't doable for us, especially when its just for one day.

Maybe next year there will be a sheltie get together of some sort that we're able to attend. :(
 
I think we might go, it looks like a lot of fun and a good chance for Chase to socialize with a lot of dogs.
 
I am not sure yet.

We may be going down to OC, NJ that day (if so we will stop by on our way down). It is my daughter's birthday weekend, and she is having trouble deciding how she wants to spend it.

Happy pre-Birthday to your daughter! If we don't catch you there, we'll see you at the sheltie rescue picnic.
Oh and I thought of a great costume for Bailey. It's group costume with her Shiba Inu buddies. If we can pull it off, it'll be pretty funny. I don't want to spoil it, so you'll have to wait for pics :wink2:

I just talked to my friend terry from the rescue, and she said that this event is HUGE. That they get thousands of people there, and L'Oreal really donates a lot of items for the event. I am really going to try and make it. Cranbury is about 1 1/2 hours from my house....so we will see what the kiddos are up to that day, and if they feel like making the drive.
 
This sounds great but,my Daughter is working from 11:00 to 4:00 and she does not drive yet.When is the Sheltie rescue picnic this year.Love to get Holly together with other Shelties.
