Yesterday I went up and saw the breeder to take photos of her dogs. we stayed for a while longer to chat about Zara. She's being dropped off next Saturday morning
we are so excited!
She was very wary of us at first but then slowly warmed to us. She licked our hands and let us pat her gently while she sat by the breeders feet which was positive. She's not particularly fond of men because she never grew up around them and has had very little exposure. Her original breeder raised for a couple of years before moving to a retirement village. Given her timid nature she still went up to my partner a couple of times on her own to sniff him a bit. I feel optimistic that she will adapt quite well and hopefully not too long.
Here are some photos from our day.
