I walk mine early in the morning here in Texas since the temperature tends to rise super quickly later in the day. You should definitely be able to tell when your pup gets tired (tongue hanging out, panting)! You could try walking him further bit by bit so you can gauge how long to walk him...

I also think that your dog will turn out to be a mahogany or shaded sable. One of my dogs (Riley) had almost the same coloring when he was younger. He is now a shaded sable and has the same black tail! :yes:

We used the bitter apple spray when my puppy would chew the door frame but it didn't work too well. Our puppy Riley seemed to love that stuff!

Riley would do this often when he was a puppy. He would get too excited and drink too much water and then run around in excitement and he would end up throwing up. I would pick up the water bowl after a bit or distract him from the water. He has since stopped doing this.
