It is with a heavy heart that I type this message. My dear sweet girl Haley crossed to Rainbow Bridge on Saturday. She struggled with liver failure and after an extended hospitalization, her little body just gave out. Her leash is still in my car and the house is so quiet today. I love her so much.

Look who came to visit and went for a swim in our pool today. Haley was pacing and barking like a wild woman, hoping to scare the pair of ducks off. No such luck. Our visitors stayed for about an hour, slow paddling back and forth.

My vet called in Haley's prescription to my CVS. Just to give you an idea of savings. At my vet's office, a 30 day supply for Urosodiol (300 mgs, #30 pills) was 178.00. At my CVS, the same Urosodiol 300 mgs, #30 pills was 72.00 and CVS asked me for my AAA card, which entitled me to a 7.00...
