  • Hello Heidi's Mom
I just read a post today from puppy Bailey's mom(post is under take4roll10). (Posted Dec. 15th). I thought of you when I read the post. Did not know if you would be interested or if Lincroft, N.J. is near you or not. Post is under, CALLING ALL NJ SHELTIES. It says Bailey will be at Thompson Park dog park, 805 Newman Springs Rd., Lincroft, NJ @ 2 PM, Saturday December 19, 2009. Hope you, your husband and the doggies are doing well.
Our Mally loves winter and the snow so much. It's like he is rejuvenated! Outside now he has extra energy.
    Best holiday wishes to you.
Hi Heidi's mom. I tried to answer your post a little while ago and Mally kept bringing me toys to throw. He's good at catching soft toys in the air. Now he has settled in on a raw hide. I am so very sorry about your not finding Heidi, that breaks my heart. I'm happy you adopted 3 dogs, they are so fortunate to have you and your husband. Also, how wonderful you were able to rescue that little sheltie your cousin now has. Thank you for keeping us updated.
I am a member of the sheltie forum. Malachi, Mally for short is my 4 1/2 year old sable and white sheltie. Last year I read about your situation with Heidi. You were and have been in my prayers. Last I read you had adopted and were sheltering other shelties. What a wonderful thing to do. I had not seen any postings from you and hoped you, your husband and the shelties were okay.
No problem. You can reach me at 856-520-2441 if you so wish and I'll be glad to help. One day when you find Heidi, and you will, all our pups can run around and play together.
I am sorry to hear that you've not found Heidi yet, but it's great that she's still surviving. Unfortunately this is one of those times where we wish shelties were not so skittish. I live in Burlington County and whenever I see the posters my heart just breaks. If there's anything I can do to help, let me know.
I would like to tell all the people that responded to my friends request for prayers regarding my missing sheltie Heidi thank you. I still have not located her yet. Your suggestions have helped, and your support has helped me through a very extremely difficult time. In the mornings when I begin my search my spirits are high and hopeful, at nights end, with no Heidi in my arms I am hopeless, and despaired. I felt like there is no hope, that I have lost my baby forever. Today was different.... Today we received a call from someone who saw our flier about Heidi and called. They provided me with the hope that Heidi is alive, and that I will find her, hopefully soon. This stranger told us that she saw my baby walking Friday nite, approx 1 mile from the adult community were she ran from. I was unaware that there are still many strangers that care about others, that society on the whole is not so terrible and selfish. To all the people out there that care Thanks you. I hope soon I will report the finding of Heidi. Please keep up your thoughs and especially your prayers, they are working to help in the search, and keeping the hope. Thanks again.
