I think you might have hit it right on the head. Try washing the rug with a vinager and hot water solution that will neutrilize the odor and should prevent her from detecting the other marking and her own. Best of luck and looking forward to seeing you on the forum.

Sheltie Peeing in basement:

Does anyone have a problem if their dog goes in the basement. We have a finised basement and when one of my Shelties goes down there she will pee on the carpet. I usually do not let her go down because of that. The other Sheltie will not go down at all. She never has done it up in the house level. Anyone else have that problem.??

Has anyone used Prozyme in the dog food.? Suppose to be good for diarreha , skin problems , loose stools. Just checking if anyone has used it..
