Well my wife got back from her trip. And we have decided to keep and work with Spice. She has been with us 4 months in a week, The 22nd. We will continue to work with her. Maybe I'll look into a class for her and me.

New update: Well I did finally hear from Spice's breeder. She says that nothing traumatic happened to Spice. She was friendly with whom ever she met. Now for the big decision, She will take Spice back and refund the purchase price. We have become attached to Spice in the almost 4 months we have...
Thanks Jess, It seems like the breeder has severed all ties with Spice. see my post in behavior. I have emailed several times with no response. But I do have her number so a call may be needed.
Thanks All,
Tim
I am told that Spice has been micro chipped. How would I go about getting the information changed from her breeder to us?
I don't want anything to happen and her be though of being lost from SO. CA.

Update on Spice:
Spice is very slowly coming along. She visited my Grandson and Daughter in law on Friday. She did quite well. even getting to the point of taking treats out of my Grandsons hand. That in itself is great being my grandson is only 1. About 2 months younger than Spice is. So...
We have been taking turns feeding her. My wife tonight my son yesterday. We thought it would be good for them to feed her. We are giving her time to adjust. Being her only a little over a month and her being still a puppy she has to learn.

Again Thank you all. I am not calling her a basket case. I am willing to let her adjust at her own pace. I think I just needed to be told what I should have realized. We do have Patrick our Mini Doxie. Which Spice has no problem with. They argue over toys one stealing from the other an vice...
A little history. We have had Spice for a little over a month. She was shipped from her breeder in Los Angeles. No info on her parents. We are her first home. She is almost 14 months old.
With Smokey our first sheltie. He was about 10 month when we got him. Me and my oldest drove to New Mexico...
Seems that my new little girl, Spice is a basket case. She has bonded to me. She barely goes near my wife. She is scared of my sons. My youngest is still at home and she is scared of him. She avoids him. When my other two sons and my daughter in law and grandson visit she is also scared of them...
Both my past Sheltie and new sheltie, love the snow. Smokie loved to eat it, he would play and run in it. Spice got her first experience with snow last week. She had a ball. she sticks her nose in the snow up to her ears. Spice is the same way as Smokie was. Now the question how are your...
I once saw a lady doing obedience in the parking lot of our local Wally world. I think any place that would distract a sheltie. (Every where for Spice) would be good. Once the weather gets warmer. ( woke to 4 " of snow this morning) I plan on taking her to our downtown. to get her used to all...
