3rd Annual Southern Sheltie Gathering: Pictures and Videos

Do we fOllow any practices when sharing our pics? Is it ok to share pictures of people, or just dogs only?

I don't think I took too many of the people.

I only have them on Facebook right now. But will get them on Shutterfly or something for those not on FB.

We had a great time. Thanks Michelle for the place to stay and the great party well worth the trip down. I had a bit of car trouble and needed some emergency repairs once I got to Cheraw. Michelle got her great mechanic on the job and the car is working great. At Dawn's now enjoying the evening while Hartley and Birch wear each other out.

Ember was quite the charmer and conned everyone out of snacks and the use of their laps. She went back and forth between Denise and Katherine's laps. I think at least 5 people tried to sneak her out of there. I have a set of photos where we were setting up some dogs for photos and we leave a gap in between groups of dogs. Ember saw the gap and wandered over and set up shop of the photo all on her own. What a ham!

Justice had a great time socializing with everyone. Diva learned to play some teeterball and Birch got his CGC. Overall a great time:smile2:

I will post the shutterfly album when it is done loading.

Hey mods.....

For the two people who posted pics early as attachments (Chris and Sca's dad, I think???), on my screen they say approval pending. Do they need to be approved, or am I just seeing something weird?

Cuz dangit, I wanna see what they posted! :P

Great pictures, great dogs! I love your dogs and Ember put me under her spell. Birch is the dog I want to have next, Justice is the one we look up to and Diva is so pretty, Bobby (and I) have a crush.

It was a great group of people and dogs, thank you! The party bags are great, lovin' the toys and the treats! Even have a nifty T-shirt as a souviner.
(too late to spell check)

Great job Michelle!

Still looking through all the photos, omg, I am so jealous. Great party Michele. As always, I KNOW you did an awesome job.

Didn't realize that Spitfire was so fluffy (so I haven't caught up on photos, or someone needs to post more). Sca reminds me of Koji, tall and lanky!

I love seeing all the Shelties together. All the colors of the rainbow. And they looked like they were having so much fun!

Oh yeah, it was a 4 paw day! I was a little worried, being somewhat new and not knowing anyone real well. However, one second in the door, I knew what genuine, caring people were there that loves this breed with a passion and welcomes those that share that love.

My dogs had a fabulous time, as did I. I've made some new friends and look forward to seeing them again at dog sports in the region!

Since Ember will get all the pictures, Justice gets a story:
I had my ice gel bag out for my knee and after a bit it feels to cold. Well justice was my buddy and glided by for a pet but I figured a northern dog had to be hot, so I draped the bag over his back for a few seconds. He seemed to like it and we all remarked on it. Well a minute or two later he glides by and backs into me like "more!" so now everyone is watching and I drape it across his shoulders I did not see the look but everyone said it was one happy pup  Poor guy need some sport therapy

All the other pups where characters in their own ways. Sca an Watson were competing for complete fan take over (just by being there no meanness). Spitfire was like a big dog zoomies groupie. He wanted in on it but they weren't taking him serious enough for him to start it. Cran was going to move in I think as he watched the door for an opening just in case. I think diva wanted to be the fun police but there were just to many dogs to come close. Big Justus was absolutely in his glory and zooming with anyone willing, I kept waiting for him to wear down but instead he would come bouncing along like "who's next?"

My boys had a fantastic time! Thanks for being a good sport and accommodating an honorary sheltie (deagle bog). They were exhausted when we got back to the room and after a very light supper, zonked out. Mommy wasn't far behind... Daddy was on his own for dinner!

We made it back home around an hour ago. Took route 29 the whole way which made for a much more pleasant drive. :)

Can't wait to curl up with Sheltie Talk and a cup of tea.

You guys rock!!
It was great to meet you and Watson was my buddy after about 2 seconds and at one point was snoozing on my foot. He is soooooo adorable :hugs Hope Sherlock is doing better out of the heat and activity although I think the one time he might have been faking
