3yr. old in HIGH KILL SHELTER IN CA.

The rescue FINALLY updated their FB page. Whiskey will be pulled on Thursday by the rescue unless he is adopted. The rescue has a donor who has offered to donate toward any medical expenses Whiskey may have after he is pulled... At last some news!!!!
 
The good part is there is a lot of people pulling for Whiskey despite less than great conditions he is getting out unlike some of he other pups :(
 
Hooray!! So glad he'll be sprung from jail. Such a handsome guy. I predict a quick adoption for this sweet boy.

I'm Judi Barry of Southland Sheltie Rescue, I just spoke with Davore, I was told he's available to the public today and not to rescue until tomorrow at noon. (Thurs) I have to call at noon tomorrow, if he's not adopted, I need to get someone over there to pay for him, then he'll go to the vets to be neutered, and then we have to get someone to go pick him up from the vet's on Friday afternoon. We will somehow work it all out...We WILL get this fellow. :-)

I guess this means we hope he gets adopted? Or should someone, um, Dawn? Go get him and turn him over to the rescue? Hmmmm......not sure how this works.
 
Man is it tough to get a straight story!!! I was told that the rescue had a hold on him and as soon as his 10 days were up he'd go to them. It's better for Whiskey if the rescue can get him at 12:00 tomorrow, because then they can take him to one of their vets for his nuetering. If I go get him earlier, 1)It will cost me $95 2) he then has to stay at the shelter where their vet will nueter him, before I can pick him up.
 
Southland Sheltie Rescue is ready to pull Whiskey today as soon as he is available. Should be his last day in the shelter....FOREVER!!!
