A continuing Sca-ga

So puppy class resumed with only two of us showing. Sca was a wild man since I did not wear him out at all first (had to run and get him food in the morning). Of course then it came time for stay while sitting.... I don't think they believed me when I said I usually do down and stay since he won't come out of a sit if I got treats. Well I go in and get a treat from his treat buddy and WHAM down goes the butt! Everyone chuckled and then understood he is all about food and then some

Some pics of him finishing the supplies on the way home.

Oh and he is over the garage fear and has been 'helping' me there

I just love him slinging on the feed bag!

Hahaha! Those pictures with his snout in the bag remind me of when Smudge stole my french fries while I was driving!

Shelties and food! They will get to it anywhere and anyhow. I made the mistake once of leaving the 'agility' bag on the floor which had a stuffed bear full of treats. She ate right through the bear to get at all the treats!

Sca clears 25" at a run :eek2: Nope not encouraging him but he came in from the yard and I had a towel over my arm to catch him and dry his feet. At speed he clears my arm then turns and returns for drying. I wonder if all Shelties are naturals at SheltieCross (aka agility)

Bailey says, Sca is a cutie

Hey there Bailey, Just because I have not been here on the forum, I want you to know that I still think of you daily, my little Boopka, so don't be flirting with Sca. I grant he is a good looking pup, but we have played in the snow at midnight together!

MMM

So last night I worked late then had promised to help Dad. So I get home late and feed the food obsessed Sca (and me). We play a bit then I put his leash on. Mom and Dad live about a 20 minute walk away and I figured that with limited play time walking Sca over would help wear him out (and be good for me). So we get there and he immediately makes Bear the grumpy Shizthu hide. We tear move the TV and tear apart the stand to make it lower (with only a bit of ear biting attempts by Sca). We put everything back together then I wire everything up. Dad had brought my suspension for the bike to UPS for me so we talked on that and I paid him back and was just about ready to go when......

zoomies

Bear got of his high horse and walked across the living room before jumping on the coffee table and Sca got inspired. So off he goes from one recliner to the other zooming back and forth and doing body slams into the chair (he almost tipped one over :eek2:) then a few laps around the house and a bit more chair loops before winding down. Of course this got Bear barking at him which only got him going harder. Mom and Dad laughed and said "so that is the zoomies"

On the good front he pulled a bit but actually did pretty well on the leash including when we went by a big barking dog.
