A continuing Sca-ga

Sounds like a perfect Sheltie evening. Now that your parents have seen zoomies, they'll never be the same. I hope Bear enjoys his new Sheltie brother or sister.

"The Bear" does not associate with other dogs. Though Sca is pretty determined that "The Bear" should play. Preferably he would like to play Sca and the Bearsheep but I don't see "The Bear" ever permitting himself to be herded :rolleyes2:

hahah you're too much you know that ?! hahah

Sca wins! There was only two of us this week but we had a course that you had to stop and do a trick at each cone. Sca won by 3 seconds :biggrin2: although if I had thought of it in time I would have requested a 5 second treat penalty so that Shadow and his little girl could have won :o I was surprised as he did down and stay real well. Normally down is poor at best and stay while it is improving fast is new but he rocked both of them

Oh and one other thing at puppy class. A lady comes up with two dogs that are kind of cool looking and admires Sca (well maybe) so I say hi and ask what hers were. The one was pretty cool looked like a mini german shepherd with medium hair. We talk a second and I lose interest since she seemed a bit snooty and kind of the dog version of a cat lady :eek2: She stands there and it is a bit of a traffic jam since there was a couple of fellows talking to the instructor, her and someone getting treats with a cart. About this time the little girl from class comes up with Shadow her 4 month old puppy (small pup and she is about nine by my guess) well the lady snaps. She tells the little girl to 'control your dog or you won't have him' Now I will be the first to say Shadow was having a bit to much fun and moving fast. However little girl and puppy :rolleyes2: Her mom was there and got on the old biddy a bit in a real nice way. I figure if you are worried that your dog will eat another why would you bring it to Petsmart? Shadow was in no way being the least bit aggressive and actually the ladies dogs didn't seem to react much. Even the instructor was a bit puzzled once we repeated what was said. She had seen the lady once she said and the crazy dog lady had been bragging on how expensive and rare her dog was (one was an Australian Ridge Back).

Of course Sca just got compliments

Never heard of that one. Thai or Rhodesian Ridgeback yes. Austrialian No. Aussie/ridgeback cross- I bet. She probably got it to go with her drapes.:rolleyes2:

Good for Sca for doing so well in class.

My bad I think it was a Thai. I was only half listening. When people start going on about how good they are (she was talking of judging stuff) I have found they usually aren't that good (applies to most things not just dogs)

Thanks. He has improved but is a LONG way from well behaved :o We still need to work on a LOT of things. Of course he is a quick learner but I am not that great of a teacher...

So on the way to Lynchburg today Sca lived up to his name. I looked over and he had his head cocked and he was looking up :confused2: I was trying to figure out what he was up to when I realized the passenger visor was down and there is a makeup mirror on the back
