A continuing Sca-ga

So Sca crashed last night :eek2: We were playing frisbee (he has been obsessed the last couple of days) and he was homing in on a low throw. He just missed picking it off before it hit then missed scooping it (something he never does). As he went by he went for scoop number two and put himself in a barrel roll about the times  He was fine and didn't even want a break.

Diva did that last week playing fetch she went to scoop up the ball and I'm not sure what happened but her front end stopped and the back end kept going. She rolled several times and the other dogs(4 of them) ran over her.:eek2: She shook her head, then got up and chased them back to us. She didn't want a break either.

So Sca went to his vacation home while his sheep escaped to Barber (2nd and got lapped... twice... by the AMA National Champion :eek2:). Dad has the gate in so he can open it and go to the neighbors. Well Sca and Rascal played until Sca was on the porch and out of it according to Dad. The next night Bear the S***zu was stirring Sca up in his carrier so Sca was barking at 3AM and Dad just let him outside. When they woke up the next morning Sca was already next door playing with Rascal the long haired weiner dog and two little girls. He was his usual wild dog self when I picked him up for a bit then slept when we got home. I think he had to much fun. In June he might go with me but I am still trying to decide whether he is ready.

Measured by proxy this morning (he still thinks the tape measure is evil) and I think he is almost exactly 18". I am headed by the vet in the AM to see if it is time to schedule a nuetering :eek2: He is now 10 months old and seems to have quit growing so it might be time. One way or another he gets on the scale and likely is told less food :uhoh:

Collie and by a Sheltie owner :eek2:

We went by the vet to get mr uncooperatives nails cut. There was a girl with a good looking Blue Merle and Sca likes to see other Shelties so I wandered over. She called him a Collie :eek2:

So nails trimmed and he is 18" and 30.2 lbs. Now scheduled to nuetered and get microchipped next Friday.

Oh and there was a senile old bat there that thought I should shave him, even after me and the lady working there explained why not she suggested it again (I think I saw Sca give her the finger but it was hard to tell with trimmed claws)

Too funny!

Going to check out Sca's new photos.

Oh, I went to the pics and Sca is GORGEOUS! Love those freckles on his face. I wouldn't be able to keep from kissing his little nose all the time!

How dare Sca take away Smudge's title of being the tallest sheltie!

If they shave Sca you can borrow Fluffy so she can pee on their floor. Then they'll have to shut the place down to sanitize it. Why do people even suggest shaving shelties/border shelties? I trimmed some of Fluffy's ear fur, and it grew back...rusty red. :dead:

WHAT???

I think I am deaf in my left ear. Sca has a new 'trick'. If I am on the couch on the computer or not paying attention he gets on the center. If I manage to ignore him he breaks out the special "do it NOW sheep" bark about 2 inches from my ear :eek2: I need to figure out how to stop this one :dead:
