Ahh!! I could just scream....

That would be my Liam. I heard a sound yesterday or Monday - he was trying to reach the bag of buns at the back of the counter.

not only steal the food, by counter, get on table or any other way, when get caught, look at you with those eyes, then burp...like what you gonna do about it ?

Just today Bella tried to steal a Mc Donald's french fry...right out of my mouth! I had stopped eating the fry long enough to look at something on the TV and the next thing I knew I had that long snoot of hers sneaking over to take it out of my mouth! Nerve I tell ya! :rolleyes2:

It's even more embarrassing when they counter surf at someone elses house! Deska has no shame whose counter he gets the food from. Had many a friend lose their lunch...

I second what Chris said I had to stifle that snort.

When I was younger my foster parents had a whippet terrier named tiger. My foster mother made a roast beef for dinner one night. she took it out of the oven to rest for a few minutes and we went outside. Well, tiger, climb up on the chair next to the stove and ate the roast beef, we had hot dogs that night

:pop REALLY enjoyed this thread  ('course, my little angel Archie would never do any of those naughty things:winkgrin:)

LOL! Think I'm glad I have a petite Sheltie girl. She's never even tried to get on the counters, and I'm not so sure she could. We did find her in the middle of the kitchen table one day after she climbed from one of the chairs to the table, but there wasn't any food on there at the moment and she's never tried again.

She's got plenty of other "bad" habits though, so I'm just as glad this isn't another one.

Tis the season....have you seen the movie "A Christmas Story?" We used to call Britta "Bumpas" because when she was a year old, we were having Xmas eve dinner at the inlaws and was in the living room waiting for the movie to end, when we heard a ruckas. We walked in and found Britta standing on the dinner table with her head buried in the stuffing bowl.

Not Kidding. I have an old 8mm video of the aftermath. I will have to dig it out and convert it to digital and post it.

It's funny how you can be soooo mad and be laughing your a** off at the same time.
