And then we figured it out!!

Shelby is a weed eater too - I swear she is OCD, when there are weeds growing in the cracks of our patio she will pull them out - she doesn’t eat the though. But she loves to eat the berries that fall from the dogwood tree. They are not poisonous, but she eats sooo many of them she does get diarrhea.

Zulu was a grass eater. I put him on Natures Pharmacy Probiotic Max, and the grass eating stopped. He also had inconsistent poops. The probiotics did not help, so I started working on his diet. Turned out it was Zukes treats. I was rotating the recipes, and one of them was causing the upset. Totally eliminated them, problem solved. No more dirty butt!

which Zukes was the issue? I use them too and am curious:yes:

A really wonderful meaty treat is Happy Howies, they come in a big roll. The company usually has sales at holiday times. We dice it up into small bit and freeze them in baggies, they defrost quickly. comes in beef, lamb and turkey, and is not greasy at all. We use them for Nosework rewards and the dogs LOVE them. We buy them from our instructor but they are an online product.

I rotated between the Salmon, Duck, and Rabbit. Looking back at my orders, Rabbit was the last one I ordered. Now I am giving him Teenie Buddy Biscuits with wheat flour. No issues, and I think he likes them better, crunchy!
thanks- we've used all of those.....
I find after using a few that they stick to my fingers so we've been looking for alternatives.....

Well Cooper has had no access to the Burning Bush in 3 days and guess what.....is still getting the same issue with his bowel movements....start off lovely (if they can be called lovely ha ha) and then he keeps going until the last push is a mess!! ugh! Luckily he has his Vet appointment Thursday for his shots and I need to take in a sample so hopefully she will have some ideas. Maybe a change in food?

Zulu's symptoms too. Probably diet, but it will be interesting to see what the vet has to say.

These are my all time favorite treats, and my dogs love them. Charlee Bear Crunchy Treats. They're not too big and low calorie, and the bag lasts a long time.

My guys sometimes get the hard-to-soft poops thing too. I'm not sure it isn't something seasonal because I notice it when the weather changes. They all get plain canned pumpkin with every meal and a daily probitoc which seems to help a bit. If you're seeing the vet though, I'd bring a fecal and have him check for worms, just in case. Mine are all eating stuff outside and they can pick things up that way too.

Did they change the packaging? Mine look totally different. But mine love them!
