Baker says hello!

Congrats on your absolutely adorable little sweetie! Such great pics & love the video, thanks for sharing! :)

Of course we will be wanting more pics after this weekend:smile2:

So excited for you. I can't wait to see pictures. I'm living vicariously through all of the new puppy owners for now.

So excited! Cubby is sleeping with joy knowing Baker is coming home soon!

Judy -- your turn is coming! I am still thinking positive!

The day finally arrived! Baker is home!

He was a doll on the 3 hour ride home - a little unsure of us at first, but so totally mine by the time we got home.

He was exploring the tv room right away - running & sliding on the tile floor - so funny. Outside was a blast. He loves to chase my feet - and he's FAST for such a little guy! Toby was wonderful, tolerating the little Baker attacks, and even initiating a couple of chase moments. I knew he would fall back into the big brother role beautifully.

And I don't remember Trace doing zoomies at this age, but Baker's a pro! We will have to do some videos for sure.

He whined a little bit when crated for his afternoon nap, but soon started exploring the new toy options, and within 10 minutes was fast asleep. Not surprising since his ride home was a series of tiny cat naps.

Hopefully his first night will go well, but I'm expecting a bit of anxiety being away from siblings. I think it'll help that their crates are side by side, so he can see Toby.

What a happy, happy day! :biggrin2:

The first picture was right after I put his harness on. It was so funny. He was all wiggly, tail wagging, kissy etc. until the moment that was on. He froze! It was like he was paralyzed. Once we went outside he was fine, running around in the yard. I guess it was just a shock to him? The breeder thought it was adorable.

The other shot was on one of our potty stops. Figured I'd better let hubby have a little bonding time also.

I am SO thrilled for you! Man he and Cubby look alike. Crazy crazy.

I have to ask. At what point did you cry? I know I did when I got my Shay after losing Quay. I had a good cry on the way home. I choked down crying when I met Cubby (thanks to John Tesh's tip how to stop from crying), but I was close first time I held him.

Welcome to the "If I had a $1 every time I have said POTTY I'd be rich" group!

How's Toby doing?

Baker you are one adorable wee lad!!!!!!! I totally love his little face. What a happy day for all of you. :smile2: You probably won't get much sleep tonight even if Baker does sleep...you will be too excited. LOL

I normally don't cry very easily - but thinking of Trace gets me every time. I haven't cried yet with Baker, but probably will later...when I think about him, think about Trace.

Toby is doing awesome - getting lots of extra hugs for being such a good boy!
