Baker says hello!

I think it's okay to allow him to play after he potties. You can use that as a reward for pottying. We don't play outside until Enzo potties, but once he does it's lots of praise and we sometimes get a toy out and transition into playing. I would be careful about 45 minutes playing outside then coming back in only because he might want to pee again by then! :)

What was he doing in those 45 minutes? Playing, chewing, drinking, sleeping, eating?

He was playing, mostly retrieving toys for me, some tugging, a couple small drinks of water.

Another clean crate this morning! Outside at 10:30 last night, up at 5:30 this morning. I wanted him to poop after his 6pm supper, before going to bed, but no such luck. We were outside from 8:30 to 9 & he had a BIG case of the zoomies - hubby & I just laughed & laughed. All that running & still no poop. He did shoot out a little "twig" right after peeing this morning.

Toby was actually wanting to play with Baker outside yesterday, but we had to get him to tone it down a bit. I was afraid he was going to hurt the little guy - not on purpose, but playing too rough.

Awww...I love when they do their happy zoomies...Toby sounds like such a joyful wee soul! :smile2:

Little Baker wants to say "thank you" for everyone's concerns about his upset tummy today. I really am not normally a worry type person but that little guy scared me today.

Hi cutie and don't scare your mom like this again, okay?

Ah, my adorable cousin . . . get well soon. Your tummy and mine both need some attention today, huh?

Baker is happy to report that he is feeling better this morning. What he doesn't know is that, since he is better, I can no go ahead with my plans to brace & tip his ears. I just couldn't even think about that yesterday.

They are tipped pretty good on their own, but I have noticed that one has started to "lift" a bit. I also think they need to be braced higher.

Wish me luck...

I'm so relieved to hear that Baker is better today. It's so upsetting when our little ones don't feel well.

It is SO WONDERFUL to have my little Baker monster back! Hi poop gets a little better every time, his appetite is back, he's back to running around like a mad man - inside & out.

At the risk of being told how I did it all wrong, I am showing you guys his ear job that we did today. The photo is a bit deceiving because it looks like they are tipped down to his head. They aren't - there is space between the tip of his ears & his skull. He was not cooperating for the photo shoot.

He was actually better than I expected when we did this, and I have learned a couple of things to make it go easier next time. When I mentioned that to hubby he said "next time"? Like he thought this was a one time deal & we're done! Found that funny because he used to watch me dealing with Trace's ears all the time.
