Thanks for the Laugh. This Forum is a riot! My husband comes in numerous times because I'm either laughing or crying. Such Manic emotions.:eek2::lol:

The Best supporting role goes to !!

Well, thank goodness for dry shampoo. No baby wipes in the house

I managed to wrestle Indy to the ground last night and dry shampooed the worst of it away. Then I threw a leg over his body to try to hold him down to create a poop chute! He's very modest, though....silly pup get sticking his tail tight to his bum and wouldn't move it for anything.....everytime I moved it aside, he would tuck it right back.

So instead of the poop chute that Chris creates - the perfect || - I created something that looks more like this:

:o

And I just let him back inside a few minutes ago and he's done it again! And still forgot to buy babywipes. I do have my Oil of Olay face wipes - maybe I'll try those....at least he'll have a wrinkle-free bum!

Barb with the Zig Zag poop chute on a sheltie with a wrinkle free Bum !:lol:

Oh joy, we have a new bath song at Nattering Springs!

Another timely post!

Indy came in today with some rather nasty smell on his derriere!

I was feeling so bad for the boys because of their surgery this week and having to limit their play, that I bought them "special bones" yesterday.

Well, we are now seeing the results of the "special bones". Bacca is off his food and Indy has diarrahea! He smells horrible. I tried to brush the worst of it of him today but he won't sit still long enough for me to get all the nasties out.

I would love to bathe him but can't because of his surgery! :uhoh: What to do! I had not done the poop chute grooming thing because it wasn't a requirement before. I share everyone's pain now!

I'm sure Indy is going though some kind of separation anxiety because I keep pushing him away from me! Whew! Stinky!

I've made the same mistake with 'special bones.' Sadie was so sick and I felt terrible for giving it to her. I definitely suffered the consequences along with her though.

This is the time when baby wipes work miracles! Much easier than soap and a wet paper towel or cloth and they smell great. Afterwards use a bit of doggy deodorant and voila, almost back to normal, until the next bath can be scheduled anyways :smile2:

I'd also like to add to the humiliating bath photos. These were taken after a fun afternoon at the dog park, when she was a pup

Did you know that at Rainbow Bridge, all the dogs sit around and laugh at naked baby pictures of their Mommies and Daddies?

Haha! That is probably so true. They don't think it's very funny when we laugh at them, but I bet they're pretty hard at us from over that rainbow bridge.

I wish I knew what my dog was thinking, my cats too. That would be cool.
