Sharon, I think this is a great idea so I created its own thread so everyone can see it and share.

I think it is a terrific idea to video clip tricks our pals do. Having said that I am still in search of the camera which DH put is "safe spot" now where that safe spot is anyone's guess. So once I resolve this small problem... I need to do it anyway as I am behind of my reports for the class I am taking. We are still working on lifting hind leg back from December challenge. No problem with lifting the leg, and starting to get target to the hand but no voluntary stretch back yet.
Our January shaping challenge called "specially for Shelties" and looks like that- dog has to hold a spoon in his mouth and you load a spoon with goodies. Since I have not taught "hold" yet in general, never mind metal spoon we still in the baby stages, although both boys are beginning to hold spoons and we are working on duration.
On the good note Che yesterday learned to wrap himself in the blanket, which looks like that

Very cute!
I always say I'm going to teach Bailey new tricks, but I can never think of anything. I've tried to teach her to roll over and to put her toys in a box, but she couldn't figure those out.

Did you try teaching Bailey roll over using a really good food and starting from a down? I was surprised at how quickly my two picked that one up.
I can't teach anything that has to do with picking something up
Lexi won't put anything in her mouth if food is around.

Yes, I put her in a down and with a treat in my hand and lured her to get her to turn around, so she's in the position to turn over, but she won't do it.

OK......I see how you taught Lexi her trick.....but how did you teach DH?????
My DH would NEVER allow it!!
I can't get Sting to roll over either.He thinks I am torturing him.I will charge up my camera and try and get my guys to do their "Thing".The newest one I am trying is getting them to cover their eyes on command.It is hard but they get it most of the time.LOLThe last trick I taught them both is to cross their paws.I won a tricks contest this past summer with Shadow and he got a new toy and me a new coffee mug.I think Ania posted a video of her guys doing tricks and it was awesome.I want to teach mine how to circle me backwards but no clue how.I have seen videos on you tube and it looks easy but it is not.
