Mine want out, no matter how cold it is. When it gets close to 0F or below, they are out only long enough to do their business and then back in. Of course, they do want out multiple times. I can stand at my back door or kitchen window and watch them. I don't walk my dogs, just because it is too hard to do with three and also because of the salt that is used on the sidewalk. I have some who do lick their feet. Boots are not an answer with them. Then again our weather can be above freezing one day and cold the next. What I have to watch for is a wind chill with the wind coming in off the lake - this can get quick brisk.

No southern gents participate in that nonsense
Its been really cold here and Monday night thru Wednesday, its going to be the coldest temps on record in over 20 years.
