Collar Cleaning - ?

I regularly wash both collars and leads. Basically when Deska manages to pee on his lead I wash them both. I hand wash them though, only takes a couple of minutes.
 
Thanks...Pandi (aka Bandit) has such dense fur, with almost an oily feel to it. His harness just feels gunky after he wears it a lot...
 
I often bath the dogs with collars on. Clean dog and clean collar. But my collars are very narrow. I remove them while dogs are drying though.

I've done this also, but I've found that sometimes their fur gets tangled in the collar. So I always wash it separately now. Your dog's collars may be different than mine though.
