To Xmas......(ooops, sorry, no time for this!)

....To Takeover day of my new pet suppy store on December 27th.....

I think I'm close to becoming a wreck. The government paperwork alone would make your eyes spin!

I'm thinking of treating myself to a massage......

Are you kidding me? The bureaucrats have nothing on you, Barb! You can run circles around them, you're well organized, have the managerial experience and background! Now you getting to do what you always wanted AND also work for yourself!
Not saying this lightly, I truly believe in you, from knowing you, even just on here... You will really do great!!!

So exciting! But sorry you're under so much stress. A massage sounds like a REALLY good idea. If you can afford it, I highly recommend a full or half spa day.

When is the big reveal of the name of your store? The 27th?
 
Got disappointing news yesterday that the current store manager won't stay on with me....she's going to transfer to another "corporate store". They pay benefits.

I sure hope I can keep the other two staff, otherwise I'm screwed. I go back tomorrow to present offers and I've upped their hourly pay. Hope thats enough.

That being said, the franchisor has told me that they won't leave me unstaffed. So, I think I can take a pill and relax here...some.....
 
Indy and Bacca can help. Yep you sure will need staff to help, store hours are plentiful and you will need a break from time to time. Congrats, you will do well.
 
Barb, you have the whole of Sheltie Nation behind you! If I were already retired, I'd fly up to help you get launched. As it is, you have all my prayers, joys and hopes!
