Crazy Time...Is this all shelties??

My pup Nellie has a 'crazy time' ever so often where she TEARS around the couch in hairpin turns, or she TEARS around the table, into the computer room and makes a 180 turn on a dime. Does your sheltie do this??? I love watching it.:lol::lol:.but is this just something mine does?:confused2::smile2:

The dreaded Sheltie "zoomies". :lol: Max used to get them all the time. I think it's just built up energy that gets released all at once.
 
We call it the zoomies!

For some odd reason, our dogs rarely do it (maybe because they channel it into agility?) But I've seen it before!
 
Treader used to get those like once a day. I love how he used to jump up and bounce off the side of the couch!
He gets playful and acts goofy still, but no more full-fledged zoomies now :(
 
"Zoomies". :biggrin2: It tickles me to see behaviour traits I've noticed in Dylan are common enough to have nicknames. He hasn't done it since around 6 months old, but yeah, he used to get the "zoomies" quite a bit! We have an enormous footrest in the front room and he would just tear round and round it. Wish I'd gotten some video of it as it was hilarious.
 
OMG, mine have the zoomies every night!

On the couch, jump down through the hall, into my bedroom, back through the hall and into the diningroom, around the table and start again. I LOVE IT!
 
Chandler used to do his zoomies up the hall around the dining room table and around the couch. repeat again. I loved watching him have so much fun. Gypsy doesn't get them too often.

Mally used to do those, too, when he was younger, the jump up and bounce off the side of the couch! Same thing, so funny. I miss his doing those.
