Diarrhea: Go to vet or wait it out?

Excellent news, really sounds like you've turned a corner now. Your vet sounds great and very caring. I'm sure he'll be very pleased with the improvement. :smile2:

Looks like you've found a keeper vet!

Thankful prayers  Glad he is better. You sound better too.

My vet is definitely a keeper. They (everyone from the front desk people, the vet techs, and the vets) have been so wonderful and caring. And yes, I feel better. I got some sleep today. I got about 3 straight hours, then another 2. For me, that's great! Sad, isn't it? LOL. But I'll take it. With Miko's poop being more solid and him being able to get up on his own, yay, I can finally sleep.

I just wanted to share two photos and a quick update.

Here's Miko finally getting some solid rest. No getting up, no wandering, just solid sleeping. Yes, I'm holding him. It seemed like he couldn't get comfy, so I just picked him up and held him and he fell asleep.

And here he is, after falling into the bed. I had to laugh when he fell into the bed because his feet were up in the air, and then he decided to fall asleep. I'm just glad he was able to rest.

Hmm...no poop yet this morning. Guess the pumpkin is doing it's job. I may just add some to his regular diet. Maybe not as much as I've been giving him though. Overall, I'd say he's recovering nicely. I can see he has a little more strength and stamina everyday.

And.....I actually got some solid sleep. Yay. I think I slept for 4 hours straight, then another 3. I'm starting to feel a lot better.

Great news and adorable pictures. Nothing sweeter than a sleeping sheltie.

Thanks for the updates! I keep looking for them.
