I talk to all three of my dogs,
i even give my dogs lil pet names
Nikki-i caller nicker-doodles, nick, nick-myster, lil poopar, raga-muffin
i even made a song about her,"Nicker-doodles, makes lotsa poodles, like toaster stroodles.
Bandit- i call him Bandit man, poopar, big poopar, monster,
slate- he's still new, so we call him Slatey, or slater, or Slater tator,

Yes and little Luke is NO Luke!lol just kidding. I call him Lukey or little one. Sometimes it seems like he might think his name is No Luke or whatagoodboy

I sing a lot. But his lullaby is Loo lae Loolee thy tiny child. Amazing Grace seems to be his favorite day song.But " How Great Thou Art" he likes a lot.I think he thinks it refers to him. And little Luke is great...for sure!

All the time. He is a very good listener. Listening for his favorite words. Lunch, supper, snack, eat, treat....

And if you start to spell those words thinking he won't get it...HA...it only takes a few days and they understand the spelled words perfectly!

Hubby sometimes tries pig Latin -- Oberon figured that one out. Now we say things like F the D (feed the dog) but I'm sure he'll catch onto that one soon, too ...
