Dog (pupp) Buying Guide Project

I've never killed anybody (intentionally, at least), but people have been known to have to throw themselves out of my path in the hallways when I become "focussed"! :eek2::eek2: (Look out, there she blows!!!)

Not sure if I got the vibe right...

Something that might make an interesting read would be to include little "Case Studies" of philosophy or thoughts on a certain section. This would give the chance to do some debate (as many of these topics are easily debatable).

For example:

(section on Questions to ask comes up)

Even though I always ask all the right questions, I've always learned more from the surroundings of the dogs, which leads to a gut feeling. Either this is the place or not. Trusting your gut will help you decide....(goes on for a paragraph or two)...

I gotta put this project on hold....

Well, with buying and selling my house, I fear that I cannot make good on my commitment to complete this project right now.

I'm happy to put it on hold, until I get control of my life again.

However, if someone wants to take up the baton, I would be fine to send on what I've done so far.

Sorry guys! I really did not plan on this. And I really did want to take this on (along with project no. 2 - Grooming 101)

Now you'all will finally have a chance to catch up in posts. I'm going to somewhat out of commission for weeks - along with a one week at end of March in Jamaica!

Perfectly understandable, Barb - thank you so much for all of the hard work and careful thought you have already put into this project.

Congratulations on your new home, and enjoy your trip to Jamaica!

Barb, I'd be happy to do some work on it for you. Can't promise too much without seeing what has been done so far though but I'd be happy to put some effort in on it when I'm not doing ENYSSC, conformation, and agility stuff.

You sold your home already? wow that was very quick~

Nope - conditional offer on new house, still have to sell current place

Stressing out here getting the current house ready for sale...I'm maxed

Poo all over the yard, looking for quick fixes to make the flaws disappear....too much furniture, too much junk, figure out financing...still have a day job.

aaargh! what was I thinking! Purchase happens April 15th. Sale happens ...who knows. I could find myself owning two houses.....

Take a deep breath....

While you go through everything, it might be worth it to get a storage space for just a few months. That way, you could box up the give away/sell items at the same time at the keep (but don't need right now) items as well as get them out of the way. I've heard the that the emptier the house, the faster it sells... people like to envision their own things in the space.

I second all the Craigslist/Freecycle advice.

Congrats on finding a new place so soon!
