Ear tapeing

I just taped Daisy's ear yesterday and was wondering how long do I leave each it on her ear before removing them?

I took some pictures last night, I will post some pictures later when I get home from work.

I just posted a tape-related situation in the Grooming section (not sure if it was the right place) also. :) I take Karma's out every week to clean them and re-tape. Hope it helps. :)

i did not see this asked in this thread, but how old should they be when their ears should be taped? I thought Maverick's would go up eventually, but they are still folded over.

Maverick may have natural ears, but I would start about 6 weeks old (starts with the breeder). Most sheltie owners don't want to rely on the ears to be naturally tipping (at least the ones I know) so everyone gets their ears taped regardless.

Aww folded over are cute.
How old is he? Usually taping is for ears that prick in order to fold them down.
I mean if he's still young. Just leave it, and I'm sure they'll come up eventually.

I already see a little loose corner coming out, just a little bit. Daisy has been scratching that left ear. Look like I gotta start buying my Detachol.

On amazon they are selling the Detachol adhesive remover in the bottle and are the vials the glue? I just need the bottle right? http://www.amazon.com/Detachol-Vial...GK2C/ref=sr_1_4?ie=UTF8&qid=1288453773&sr=8-4

Try your walmart pharmacy ok.This is where I get mine.Although they may not have it n the shelf, they will and should order it for you.It takes only a day for it to come in.

Be prepared..it is pricey.I pay 18.00 for a bottle,but it goes along ways~

Thanks for your help! I was worried I should have done something that I did not do! Pal's ears where up and 1/3 folded over right from the start, Maverick is 7 months old and I hope they will go up eventually.
