Ellie has vomitting and diarrhea

The vet said that he doesn't think she has a blockage because her abdomen was soft and she didn't fuss when he pressed on it. She got two shots, one for the vomiting and one for the diarrhea and she doesn't get to eat tonight (she will be sooooooo mad!). She gets to eat the bland canned dog food tomorrow (she loves it) and then has to get Pepto for doggies until the stools start getting firm. He wants to see her in the morning to see how she is doing. Here's the funny thing--our vet was treating the same miniature donkey he was treating months ago when Ellie's spay went wrong. How weird is that? I guess I will know when to expect Ellie to get sick if the little donkey gets sick!
 
I hope Ellie gets to feeling better soon. I was woken to Angel vomiting off the side of my bed yesterday :dead: Turned out to be the new shoe laces that I had bought.:no:
 
I hope Ellie is feeling better soon. She has had more than her fair share of illness, poor little thing. I love her little face in your avatar. She is so precious!
 
It's awful when we have to fast our pups! They don't understand....particularly when you've more than one pup, and the others get to eat.....

I would rather fast myself!
 
We hope that her belly rests with the fasting for tonite.Hopefully she will feel much better tomorrow. Keep us posted~
 
Poor little girl she has been through so much, does sound like she got into something she shouldn't have.

I too am hoping that Ellie feels better soon. Maybe a good night's sleep will help if she's already gotten it all out.
