I know I mentioned before that we have Enzo entered in his first trial in a little over a month. It's AKC, and we really only entered it as a "test" to see how he does. I think that's the case for the first few trials, it's really just to see where we are, what needs worked on, etc.
Well in our lesson the other day our trainer set up a novice course (just with no table) so we could see where we were. Yikes. Probably 3 off courses, a broken tire, and we're definitely not ready for the teeter in competition!
The second time Enzo did much better (we left the teeter out), but man. Really humbling and shows that we better moderate our expectations!

And actually have the problems were my husband's handling! Figured he wouldn't want that showcased!
